Sew And You Friends Sew And You Friends is a Sewing Group for Beginner's and More Sew And You is for beginner seamstresses and sewing enthusiasts. We are striving to make a better looking garments. Together we will be learning new skills, networking with others who share their love of home sewing with others. We discuss topics such as basic constructions, design, pattern drafting of any kind, fitting techniques, techniques, embellishments, learning your style, craft items, quilting and anything that will improve our skills. We also talk about many non sewing/crafting topics. Some members use pattern-drafting software, hand drafting patterns and others are utilize commercial patterns. Since everyone has varying degrees of skill, you are bound to get an answer that works for you. We are all willing to step up and help a new sewers learn the rope as well as build up ourselves.
