Paul Davis Restoration of North Florida to participate in City of Jacksonville’s Adopt-A-Road program beginning on June 21

Jacksonville, FL - Marguerite and Mike Mumford, Paul Davis Restoration of North Florida owners, have recently announced their company’s participation in the City of Jacksonville’s Adopt-A-Road program. According to Marguerite Mumford, the Adopt-A-Road Program encourages businesses, industry, civic, youth and nonprofit organizations to adopt an area of roadway in their communities.

“We selected about a mile of roadway on Hodges Blvd. and Hunt Club Road near Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville. The area has a mix of residential and commercial properties along the roadway and we look forward to helping the City of Jacksonville with monthly litter collection and other beautification activities,” said Marguerite Mumford.

The Mumfords and their staff will formally begin participation in the program on June 21 and will be provided with bright orange garbage bags, vests and gloves for a cleanup while following safety rules and dispose of collected litter properly, among other program parameters. A formal dedication and sign along the highway with the company’s name will follow. Paul Davis Restoration of North Florida will fund its participation in Adopt-A-Road for an ongoing period.

According to Mike Mumford, his company specializes in emergency mitigation, clean up and restoration of property damages from water, fire, smoke, mold, vandalism and other related insurance claim losses. Paul Davis Restoration staff members hold professional certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD).

“We are very pleased to participate in the Adopt-A-Road program. We believe in the mission of the program which allows citizens to demonstrate their community pride, make a positive statement for a clean, attractive community and help the city reduce costs,” said Kindra George, Paul Davis Restoration’s Senior Associate who identified the program for the company and spearheaded Paul Davis Restoration’s participation.

“This program supports Paul Davis Restoration’s belief in providing exceptional customer service and providing a high-standard of work, plus personal and professional responsibility in everything we do,” she said.

“This is just one of ways we demonstrate our dedication and thanks to Jacksonville for supporting our business while we participate in community service. We will provide clean-up at our Adopt-A-Road location once a month,” said George. For more information about the Adopt-A-Road program, contact Daniel Durbec at City of Jacksonville, 904.630.3420.

Marguerite and Mike Mumford and their staff are located at the company’s offices at 5795 Mining Terrace in Jacksonville. The company has been in business serving northeast Florida since the 1960s.
