Uploading pictures to your profile

Hey folks!

Here at MyClaySun.com we strongly encourage you upload an "avatar" to your profile.

What's an avatar?

An avatar is pretty simple. It's whatever you want it to be. It can be a picture of you, a picture you like, or something that represents your personality. See the small square picture above this post? That's me!

This is another way that you can personalize your experience on MyClaySun. When you talk with others on blogs or become someone's buddy, your avatar is the first thing people see. It's your chance to make a first impression.

If you're familiar with programs like Instand Messenger, an avatar is exactly the same as a buddy icon.

There's only one small gotcha. We're constantly trying to reinforce that this is YOUR site, so we've made the header here all about your information. Once you upload your avatar, every time you come back your picture will be at the top of the page next to the logo. Our only stipulation is that you stick to a perfectly square avatar. It can be whatever size you like -- we'll make it fit.

Here are some examples of avatars from a sister site:

//blufftontoday.com/files/pictures/picture-6229.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
